A 2012 Welcome to Plentygood Farm...

and an update on Tuberoses for 2012!

Glad you found us and welcome to our site. We are now in our seventeenth year of growing tuberoses. As organic growers going into this year of 2012 we understand and recognize the need to live consciously and deliberately, incorporating sustainable practices into all we do.

Plentygood Farm has been in operation since 1993, growing and selling organic produce and of course one of the most fragrant flowers to be found, the Mexican Single Flowered Tuberose. During the last two years we have completely renovated the entire tuberose crop. What this means is that some of our tuberoses had been in the ground for six and seven years without being dug and divided. The renovation found us digging plants that were very robust, with massive woody rootstock and many, very large tubers. Our customers were happy and so were we.

After careful deliberation we have decided to not harvest and divide any of our one and two year old plants going into the 2012 growing season.
With all the positive response from the many growers and gardeners who ordered from us these past couple of years, we are sorry to disappoint you for requests this year. We feel it is in our best interest to let the tuberose crop mature and build a stronger, more robust root system. We will have tuberoses for sale in the future and will update our website to keep you informed.

As we focus our attention and look forward to another year of flower production in 2012 we welcome your visits to this site and hope we can offer support and assistance to your success as growers and gardeners!
